Galway wtf? Could have chosen a better venue but I suppose he probably hasn't seen it yet.
Definitely won't be missing that if it is true. I might try and find his email and beg him to change it to somewhere in the big smoke  |

why would he want to do that jay. dublin isn't the be-all-and-end-all that you make it out to be. it wasn't long ago that u were thinkin athlone was the best place on earth.
i'm sure he has been to dublin and knows thats it's nothin but a kick in the balls...
he has played in cork already before, and i asume he has played in galway too...
he was actually born in limerick

The one thing about aphex, he's not in it for the fame, the smaller and little known the venue, the better.
He wouldnt be interested in playing Dublin.... all the hype and over excitement wouldnt be up his street. Too full of people there to see the big name... and dont really understand the music....
He's one of the true pioneers of electronic music. He was building certain types of synthesisers from scratch in his garage before some of the big companies like, pioneer and sony etc.

some lad posted this on the EP forum about the gig...

Aphex is in Oct. We won't release tickets til four weeks prior to gig. All press etc will go out start of Sept so you'll know in advance when the tickets will go on sale

Well i thought it was a tribute as they were called Apphex Quinn!! Lol
I dont have any facts but if it was true he would be playing in a nicer venue, dont you think? Even if he is all about the music! Doesn't have to be in the lime light in Dub, but GPO!
It smells like gone off students! Shur i dont know, maybe he'll write a song about it!!

I am indeed extremly ragin, first cause I was lookin forward to feelin Johnny's tong on my cinamon ring and second cause I have to go to the smelly GPO in Galway now.
